Why Do We Crave What Is Bad For Us?

The old cliché that has a lot to answer for if anything is tasty it must be fattening. Take any list of favorite items, and there is no chance that several would be unpleasant stuff to us. We naturally crave foods that are not the right choice for us on balance – they 're unhealthy, lack nutrients and sometimes don't fill our stomachs very well – but we keep coming again.
There is no denying that food has a certain appeal which isn't especially good. There is not always the beauty in the way the food tastes. Often it's a comfort-if you 're in a football game
chances are that the snack choices do not include a nutritious casserole, but include burgers, hot dogs and a range of other items which will not do a lot of good to your waistline. Often it can be anything as easy as the way a food smells – find someone who doesn't like the scent of fried onions and you might have just found life outside.
We just crave the unhealthy food as much as not, because it is easy. We 're used to it, we don't have to sit down and eat it or just pair it with the right side dish. It is simple, and good taste. What we need to do is get to the point where we find a safe alternative that is just as trouble-free as possible. For many, a sandwich is the best choice in this situation – just as long as there isn't too much butter on it, anyway!
